Write a Letter to the Editor
Time to take a stand.
Writing a letter to the editor is a great way to inform the community, alert the press and even get the attention of your elected officials (especially if you mention them by name!).
Generally, letters should be short and to the point. Let people know what is happening, how it affects you and how it makes you feel. If you can point to an action they can make (direct them to our website, sign the petition, etc) all the better. If you’re mad, say so!
You can download a sample letter below, but remember to make it your own. It doesn’t have to perfect, it just has to be YOU.
